The Lotus - flowers and seeds at the same time, illustrating the profound
working of life where the effect is simultaneous with the cause.
It also represents our innermind as we transcend into new levels of awareness
with the passing of time.
Most of the time, it is hard to explain in words what your subconsciousness is
feeling. i’ve been rather intuitive about my approach in this new series.
Why did i choose the name ‘transcendence’, it means ‘existence above and
apart from the material world’......the quality or state of surpassing..."
While the lotus as a subject is symbolic, i’ve been searching deeper for what
this series means to me.
Most of my time is spent in the corporate world pursuing commercial goals,
thus this series allows me to create another world which is pure and dreamy,
where raw beauty exists - a place where you can truly be yourself to pursue
lofty ideals and not be judged.
The art presents itself as a inspiration for us to seek beyond our material world
- in pursuit of self actualization.
